Welcome to Revival in the Prisons website. This website is an outreach of the School of Christ International. The name tells it all; there is a revival breaking out in the prisons of America.

The School of Christ International is now in nearly one thousand prisons across forty-one states of the U.S., and reaching into new facilities weekly. Every day of the week we are ministering to, and changing the lives of thousands of inmates, and through these New Creatures in Christ we are affecting thousands of their families on the outside.

The testimonies coming to us out of these prisons is like reading the Book of Acts. Recently I was in a women’s prison in Florida where we have graduated scores of inmates. I was in the auditorium when the ladies were brought in. They gathered around me weeping, telling what God, through the School of Christ, had done in their lives. They had been delivered from prostitution, lesbianism, drugs, you name it. Now they are New Creatures in Christ; from the dung hill to princesses by the power of the Word of God.

We are in sixty-two Faith-based prisons two hours a day, three to five times a week. Mr. Dennis Bradley, who determines what programs get into these prisons, told our Director Mr. Pete Spackman that the School of Christ had changed the whole demeanor of the prisons. Violence has been reduced dramatically.

When Warden Cain came to Angola in 1995, he began immediately to expand the teaching of Christ inside the prison. The results, the number of inmate on inmate assault with a weapon dropped from 346 in 1996 to 60 in 2006. We not only have the answer we have the only answer; this gospel has the power to make bad men good.

Through this website our desire is to let the nation know what is going on inside the prisons in America. With your prayers and support we could double the number of prisons we are in by this time next year.
